The title says it all.
Gamers need to move on. I am repeatedly seeing forum topics about "Which game do you still play?" or "Do you think they should bring back this game for next-gen?" No, they shouldn't bring back any of the old games over to the next-gen consoles.
Take Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit for example. That game was brilliant on PS2, but it imploded when brought back to life for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Call of Duty 4? Always a classic, people still talk about being the greatest CoD to date. They don't need to bring it back. It was fun yes, and had a great run. People need to let it go and move on. There's plenty of brilliant games now, and to be released. Get over it, games will die.
Don't be the guy playing MW2 for the next 5 years. No one will be by your side.

Agreed, I'm grateful to have the memories of playing such great games with friends, if we had them brought back it wouldn't be the same.

Well i do agree with you but i think we all would like to see a remake of COD 4 but with the mods fixed

When new games start showing an ounce of quality, I'll stop playing the old games. Every single 'next-gen' and most new current-gen games I've seen look horrible; even my favorite series' (Metal Gear Solid) newest addition looks like a major disappointment.

I can see where you are coming from but I'm still going to play these games no matter how old they are. They are still fun to me. Isn't that all that matters?

I think if they made call of duty 4 on Xbox One with all mods fixed and made no changes I think it would be the best selling call of duty on market today call of duty 4 was the only call of duty to make it to game of the year.........
