Ok so I'm looking to buy a good gaming laptop so I went to the Alienware website and looked at a few laptops and I had a few questions about the specs could a Alienware laptop with the specs bellow run games like battlefield and cod ghost smoothly
4th Generation Intel Core i5-4200M processor (3MB Cache, up to 3.1GHz)
Processor - i5
Memory unit - 8GB DDR3L at 1600MHz (2 x 4G)
Hardrive - 750GB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s

Might not run 'smooth' But would definitely run the game fine.

I don't know how you can say that without knowing what GFX Card he has.
If it has anything above a GTX 660 you should be fine.

You should be able to run most games pretty smoothly. But every now and then their could be a little lag spike but thats just gaming.
