Hi guys im buying a new gaming pc and wondering if this would do the trick for b4f on high to ultra??
Intel ivy-bride-e i7 4820k 3.7ghz
asrock x79-extreme 4 motherboard lga2011
16gb corsair ddr3 1600 ram
arctic freezer 130 cooler
120gb sata3 ssd+1tb sata3 hard drive
nvidia gtx760 2gb graphics card
dvd/cd dual layer burner
bitfenix shinobi gaming case
550w bronze certified modular psu
And could I also get your view on getting either windows 7 or 8??

That should be fine, but you did not need to spend that much money on a i7 processor, I also advise you to upgrade your hard drive because games life Battlefield take up alot of your Hard Drive space.

Lol,and i7 extreme with a 760...
Don't need that 16GB and i7 if you're going to be gaming.If you're editing/rendering i suggest you keep the ram but change the i7 extreme to a i7 4770k.
Also you're spending that much money and no SSD?I
suggest you get a 120GB SSD as you can boot up windows/games quicker.
It looks as though you just threw in lots of expensive parts without looking at other important ones.

You do not need an extreme series i7 to play games. Go with an i5 processor, you can use the saved bucks to get a much nicer graphics card or more SSD with a bigger capacity. Just note that LGA 2011 (your mobo is an lga 2011) sockets will not work with LGA 1150 processors.
