I enjoy conversing with people in person because it is really hard to show sarcasm over the internet.

Kids now are more spoiled then ever, 8 year olds have IPhones/IPad, when they probably begged their parent to buy it for them constantly.

Kids I feel don't spend enough time with their parent, this again goes back to the technology thing, people are too busy texting, playing xbox, ps3, etc. Back then, kids spent their time outside and helping their parent with whatever they need.

6 Year Olds are now using cuss words. I don't know about you but if I just said like shut up or crap, I would get my mouth washed out with soap, which was awful by the way. But now 6 year olds can cuss and parents don't care at all.

People want jobs that pay good, but they don't do anything to get to it.

Kids are doing drugs and drinking alcohol like there's no tomorrow. I personally have never done either of those, neither will I.

I could go on and on and on, and I bet you guys do to. Feel free to add anything I missed.

I really think our generation is just so messed up its not even right, and the next generation will probably be worse.

On a serious note, what you;re saying is true, each generation is getting lazier and lazier and technology isn't helping.
That as-well as how families split up alot more than they used do a few decades ago, there are alot more divorced parents and children being brought up by only 1 parent, it can affect the child quite badly in some cases.

Which is a possibility since clean water is falling short nowadays... Canada is going to get raided since British Columbia has one of the cleanest water sources in the world.

I am sorry but this is total bullshit. Every generation goes through this phase were they think their generation is retarded or something. The main reason our generation seems **** up is because technology is so advanced now that things spread a lot easier. 16 year olds getting pregnant? Yah thats not a new thing. Kins are more spoiled than ever? Wrong. An ipod now cost what a gameboy color did when it first came out. You just think its more spoiled because its 1000x more advanced but it still cost the same. 6 year olds are now cussing? Ok first off I highly doubt 6 year olds are cussing but with each generation certain things are looked at differently. LIke saying crap 30 years ago would probably get your grounded and slapped around for 2 months. Times change. Kids are doing drugs and drinking? Again thats not new.

The one thing that might be different is that everyone has a phone. Last generation didn't but other than that their will always be some problems with each generation and the next generation will say the same thing about us.

Well maybe the last generation sucks at raising kids, and keep in mind the last generation gave us the technology we have today, causing obesity and all that.
But I can agree with you, I hate the loud mouthed kids in my school, they have no respect to the teachers and curse them out all the time when they dont get things there way.

Love this post, it's so true. I am only 16 years old but I totally understand. I remember when I was like 6/7 and had to be home by 9PM or I would be grounded for a week. My first ever mobile phone was a brick nokia when I was like 9 years old so my parents could contact me when I was out with my friends between 5 and 7pm then my upgrade from that was a flip phone. Now, you see 6 year olds walking about with their "iPhone sw@g" taking "selfies" with their "bestos". Its not even 16 year olds getting pregnant now, their is a 14 year old girl in my school who is pregnant and her parents are proud of her.. lolwut? It's disgusting. I was out at the weekend and I genuinely saw a group of 12/13 year olds roaming the streets at 11.30PM smoking a joint and drinking bottles of cider, so class, right? It horrifies me that this is happening, I totally agree with your point man, something HAS to be done.
