I'm a catholic so I've had my experience with the bible and the church. I feel that what's going on is satan is really misportrayed. This is just me going on a limb but religion is all propaganda to me. Different religions telling you to choose them while they all bash on each other saying why there's is better or why not to join the opposing religion/church. Satan never existed in the beginning, only evil and adam and eve with evil being the snake. In the Church they proclaims how evil satan is and how enticing he is when really there arent any accounts of him doing wrong except to watch over the underground. Really he punished bad people? So how can he be bad? I feel that when we hear satan we cringe a little just because of the name and the reputation it has. Let me know what you think regardless of your religion.

Look at how many people God killed using their will to choose that he gave them. It's quite pathetic that you are punished for using the individuality and self-determination that he placed within you. He's a genocidal, totalitarian, and sadistic god who thrives on character inversion.

What you are saying is interesting but regarding this topic I also believe in a quote that said by the French poet Charles Baudelaire "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't excist.

As a catholic you should know this:

Lucifer use to be God's right hand man. The second in charge. The most handsome of all Angels. BUT, he got jealous. He didn't want to be the second in command. He wanted the power God had. To rule.

Because of this, God gave him his wish. Let him have his own domain(Hell.) Obviously, enraged by this, Lucifer took it out on God. Went to the humans and tricked them. Corrupting them. Someone above said God is Hypocritical by punishing us for what we do. He doesn't. You can commit almost any sin on earth and as long as you truly repent and understand, he will forgive you and accept you into his eternal paradise.

It's 'Satan' that turns people from our Lords path. Convincing them not to repent and to just sin for the sin itself. All in all, it's a battle between the two on who gets the followers. Good versus Evil. I'm not sure about other religions, but I think their all fairly close in that matter of God vs. Satan. If anyone has questions, PM me!

So if he doesn't punish us for what we do why is there a Hell? Why is there a sin in the first place if it doesn't really matter as long as you say "God forgive me for I have sinned"? If that isn't hypocritical, then I don't know what is. God punishes you into making you feel guilty for doing things that come natural to you. The idea that you are just a test for God is ridiculous. Why do you have to be what he want's you to be? Why can't you just be you? And no, the God vs. Satan thing is not fairly close to other religions. At least not all of them. Christianity is just a plagiarized version of early Egyptian religions. That's the only similarity. The spawn of all the great Messiahs have come from the context of the early Egyptian religions without much effort from their creators to even change the story.

you are who you choose to believe you repenting is admitting to your sins knowing what you did was wrong and you are ashamed of it God forgives you if you ask satan does not want you to repent your sins he wants you to sin and not be sorry or ashamed of it and those are the people who go to hell

I can't see someone going to hell justnecause they didn't repend. I don't view god or satan as good or evil. More like two seperate kings in a big game of chess.
