Drinking has nothing to do with Soldiers. It is not good for you therefore you should not be able to drink "just because I am a soldier."

I think it's outrageous to have someone fight for their country but not be able to simply sit down at a bar and have a drink with someone, or have a drink at all. Very stupid IMO.

That's not the point of this post at all.

He's saying that the drinking age should be brought down simply because if you can fight for your country at 18 then you should be able to drink at 18.

Soo Soldiers are risking there life's everyday so we can live in the environment we're in now, but they can't have a drink :L Stupid.. if you ask me.

I agree with you. At 18, you are an adult and are responsible for yourself. Therefore you should be able to make you own decisions on whether you want to drink or not.
