The computer on crucial says max 8GB ram so it should work.

Says you have a 2GB and a 1GB Ram module installed You could replace them with two 4GB modules, Which is on the page you posted.. You could also spend a little more and buy a new laptop with 8GB ram 1TB HDD ect..

As it only has 2 RAM slots you'd have to get a 2x4GB kit,also its a laptop so you might have a hard time doing it.

Before you continue check if your computer is running a x86-64 (64 bit) version of Windows because x86-32 (32 bit) can only use 4GB ram maximum.
