Go, on your Xbox, to System Storage and clear your memory's cache. Try again and let me know of your results. Also, go to prod.cloud.rockstargames.com in your Internet Explorer on your Xbox. If you get the same "Success!" page, you're good to go.

Try restarting your computer's connection and confirming sharing is enabled on your WiFi's properties. If this does not work, google your issue to find further troubleshooting techniques.

When attempting to save it after opening with Notepad, click "All File Types" where it says "Text Document (.txt)"
Save it without an extension by double clicking on the current hosts file and confirming the overwrite.

I did that as well and still only get a host file with an extension

Simply make one. You don't need anything but the line I've provided in there anyway; everything else is commented out -- so it's the equivalent.

Disconnect and reconnect. You'll be level 1 with -2billion or so RP.. not sure. Then just work your way up, I guess. It won't be quick.
