No crap I know it's a beta -_-. The beta is crap too. Other games have way polished betas then this.

I haven't played the beta yet, mainly because I forgot to do the beta key.

Anyways, most beta's are just a test of what the game is going to be. it isn't going to be perfect and there will be a lot of bugs, but that's a point of the beta. You get the feel of the game while playing the beta and a lot of the bugs get fixed.

Plus, this is the first time they have made an online game, surely it isn't going to be perfect but it's what the community has always wanted from Bethesda so I'm glad it is happening.

Even though I've never played ESO yet, I would have to say that I just can't expect it to be an MMO game. I guess I'm just frightened for it become another WOW and let the franchise become a cash cow. Just my 2 cents.

As a somewhat long time elder scrolls fan ( played since morrowind) i have gotten into the beta and can say it is pretty nice so far for being a beta, it just needs a little bit more of an elder scrolls feel. Example: needs to have pick pocketing, better lock picking, and just a better look system overall. If those are fixed it will probably be the best game iv'e ever played.

you played betas made for a final figure, for last minute changes just because you kids played xbox betas doesnt mean all betas are in their final draft jackass... if you didnt notice a majority of the NPC's still dont have the actors voices programmed in... they are testing to make sure their Mega Server will hold up they arent letting you play it for early access it pains me to see how ignorant kids are when they hear the word beta...

All of the people saying it's beta, it won't get better. MMO graphics don't get too much better, first off why would it be put on console? Second of all how do you completely change voice acting? They don't hire out all new voice actors because the past ones were only for beta. Most MMO's don't even have much voice acting, it's all text. There are so many other mythical MMO's out that ESO isn't even unique: World of Warcraft, Mortal Online, Rift, Runescape, Dark Age of Camelot, and so many others. MMO's are hit and miss and are even more close to be a miss when you use the same genre everybody else is using.

People won't die fast either, you'll be mashing your power keys often and running circles in PvP don't expect some Skyrim style combat, it isn't the way MMO's work.

@Potions saying they need to add pickpocketing and lock-picking. Have fun grinding amazing gear and getting it stolen by the players who will practice pickpocket beyond belief. If you could pickpocket people could become stacked out easily. Just keep trying to pickpocket a boss and take their stuff. Pickpocketing would completely destroy loot tables and loot randomizations. If you want something then grind out on NPC's and hopefully get it(if they even drop it or if its a craftable/un-obtainable)

Just because it is the beta however, does not mean it's going to be a brand new game when the final is released. The beta is still the core game and the graphics aren't going to be revolutionized in time for the final release.
