Before rooting your phone you should know that if you have a warranty you'll void it by rooting it. You want to make sure that you follow all steps carefully and pay very close attention to what you're doing. May I ask why you want to root your phone? My phone is rooted as well but I may have rooted it for different reasons than you. If you just want a new interface for your phone I recommend just installing Nova launcher, but if you want to overclock your phone or save a little battery then you should root it. But anything you do to it is your fault.
