I used to play dayz mod a lot, but about a month after getting it, my frame rate randomly dropped down to around 10 FPS which makes the game totally unplayable. I know my pc can handle the game (Intel core i5, GTX 660m with 2gb dedicated). Anybody know what is causing this or any fixes?
Thanks

I was having the same issue. I restarted the game, and it worked fine. Also if that does not work restart the computer. And if all that doesn't work either re install the game or set your video settings low.

Another thing that might be bothering it (I know this is really unorganized ) is that you need a graphics card update.

Try changing your Render Distance to between 500 and 1000, this should help.

Most likely a new driver came out.

See if your card needs a driver update.
