I despise ranked and play normal's 99% of the time and have managed to improve massively. Lately my friend wanted me to duo with him our of bronze because even ill admit, he was better than at least bronze, So after my first 10 placement games of playing with him. I managed to receive a 9-1 record and get placed into Silver II. And now while we continue to do his promos to enter silver as we speak we hold an 13-1 record and carry every game together. If I wanted to I could probably go from silver II to Gold at this rate in a day or two if I played enough. My point is ,even though we duo'ed out of bronze(where most "ELO Hell" victims reside) We were still able to overcome the trolls and simply poor players by managing to carry hard. My point is that you don't need to be a pro player to have a bronze account and carry yourself out of bronze/silver and even gold. I probably had 4 ranked games under my belt before I duo'ed with my friend and 2 of those were on Twisted Treeline. So if you find yourself stuck in "ELO Hell" then my suggestion is to take a break and visit normals where people are honestly better most of the time and you can have fun in games. Watch streams and VOD's and analyze how they lane and how they roam. Itemization is also a huge thing that can help you be a better player in itself. Once you feel like you've become a better player, take a trip back to ranked and try to carry. Always try to put pride in your teammates rather than insulting them time after time. If they are toxic, just mute them all and you will realize that it makes the game 5 times better in those situations
