My budget is 1300-1500GBP for the PC and peripherals. I won't need keyboard and mouse but will need a monitor and OS. The computer will primarily be used for gaming but the occasional photo editing and video editing will be done too. This is my second build however this is a higher end one than my other and I will be over clocking too. He are the parts:

CPU- Intel Core i5 4670K
CPU Cooler- Corsair H100i
Motherboard- MSI Z87 M
RAM- Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Jet Black
GPU- VTX3D Radeon R9 290 4GB
SSD- 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SATA III
HDD- 2TB Seagate ST2000DM001 Barracuda
PSU- 850W Corsair RM Series
Case- Corsair Obsidian 750D
OS- Windows 8.1
Monitor- 24" BenQ RL2455HM RTS Pro Gaming LED Monitor

With the GPU I found the VTX3D to be the cheapest and also had better aftermarket coolers on the card however I am unsure if this is a reliable company and would like to know if I should go for a more well known brand such as MSI which the budget can stretch too. Another parts is whether I should go for the 290x yet i felt 5 frames wasn't worth 100GBP but it would be good to hear your opinions.

I have never heard of VTX3D before...
And personally I would swap out the 290 for a GTX 780 or 780Ti. They are far better cooled than the R9.

Other than that, nice build.
However 850W is a bit overkill. I would get a 600W for that.

the 290's are still decent cards just make sure you get a non reference cooler otherwise it's a oven in your pc plus the difference between 290-290x is tiny..
plus mantle.

Thanks for the advice I have just seen on scan too that there is now a H105 at the same price as the H100i. Do you know how the H105 performs compared to the H100i and also will there be room in the 750D as I saw it was very think?

its a little better, and yeah it should fit fine the 750d is pretty large..

also go with a bigger motherboard the msi z87 m is tiny and would look very silly in that case, the msi z87 g45 would be fine.

if you're buying from scan which I suggest!..

also a ips monitor would be a better choice as they truly are amazing..
Good reviews.

This is a excellent case as well if you need the room and like it quiet.

I am buying from scan so yes and those videos will be good to look at. Thats for the tip about the motherboard as I didn't realise it was tiny.
