Alright... so recently my computer had stopped working... I figured it was my hard drive because it made a flickering noise. so I went out and bought a hard drive and now it leaves me at a blank boot menu screen... Anyone know how to fix this? ( I already tried all the F keys and DEL and nothing happens )

(EDIT : Here's a picture "http://tinypic.com?ref=213rcw6 )

Go into your BIOS and set the boot menu to your DVD drive to install Windows.

If you already have it on the HDD, the BOOT.MGR file should take over.

The thing is I can't install windows or anything.... It won't even allow me to get into BIOS.
( I tried every possible key and none of them do anything. except ESC which pretty much restarts the computer )

You should ALWAYS be able to get into the BIOS. Try clearing the CMOS by taking the battery out of your motherboard and then put it back in.

I tried taking out the CMOS... it didnt change anything

( Could it be something that's wrong with the motherboard? but I do see the brand logo when it starts up )

Your BIOS will need the RAM, CPU and Keyboard to be working properly to be able to boot. Make sure one of the connections are not loose.
