Waking up during the night/morning can be caused by disrupted sleep patterns, Alcohol, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, Old age, blue spectrum lights from Androids and Phones etc, but spirits looking at you....lol.

People say that all claims of paranormal activity can be dismissed using science. Well, what happens when the same science that is suppose to dismiss claims actually offers proof of the claims. Being a paranormal investigator I use science to try and dismiss claims of paranormal activity. I use and EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) meter. A digital thermometer, digital voice recorders, and video recorders with night shot on them. Science says that a sound must have an origin. How would they explain a female voice caught on a recorder, that was not heard during the investigation, only during review, when there were no females in the area. Along that same line, how could there disembodied footprints caught on the same piece of equipment when there are only two people in the building and neither are moving. They also say that a cold spot (which is thought to appear when an entity is trying to manifest itself) is caused by drafts and air conditioning. In a room with no air conditioning and no possibility of a draft that has an average temperature of 60 degrees, then to scientist it would be impossible for an area to have a temperature of 40 degrees for a few seconds then jump back to 60, but it happens. Also when an image of a person that you can see through walks past a video camera, and there is no one else in the structure, how would science deny that? Another theory on manifestation is that the entity will create and EMF. Though EMFs are caused by electrical lines, breaker boxes and some appliances, I have had EMF reading appear and vanish, and have also been able to follow one that appeared to move in a structure with no electricity in it.
On the flip side, like I said earlier, I use science to dismiss claims. EMFs are found in most every structure and cause sensory hyper sensitivity if a person is exposed long enough. Side effects of sensory hyper sensitivity are skin irritation, nausea, fatigue, paranoia, and hallucinations. I common claim of the paranormal is knocking on the walls or footsteps. These can be caused by water heaters and furnaces kicking in and rattling pipes. Doors opening on there own is another claim, which can be caused by swelling with the changing seasons. If one swells, it could not close properly and another door opening or closing could cause a vacuum causing the first door to open. Another claim of paranormal activity is water faucets turning on by themselves. The back stops and seals in the knobs can wear down, allowing the water pressure coming up to them to twist them on.
