Hey guys whats some good places to visit in the USA? I will be coming there in november or december for about 4-5weeks for a holiday.Im from new zealand. Main reason for coming is to meet 1 of my xbox live friends ive known for like 6years lol pretty random i know, but him and his GF are really cool, cant wait to meet them, they live in fresno california.
Is car hire cheap, same with fuel, food and drink or anything in general? Gonna book my tickets in the next 4weeks, its pretty cheap for a return flight from NZ > L.A, only costs $900-$1200. Do you guys think $4000 would be enough spending money for 4-5weeks?

I'd recommend going to San Francisco considering you said you would be in California.
It's a really great city with plenty to do and the golden gate bridge is fascinating to look at.
Other places I would recommend that you visit if you get the chance:
New York City (Obvious)
Seattle
Washington DC is very nice this time of year
Chicago
I'm sure there is much more I'm forgetting but these are the big places I've been to/enjoyed.

Oh ok then. Yeah auckland is pretty expensive, but again NZ is pretty expensive really, especially cigarettes, fuel and other stuff. But there's good benefits to live in NZ tho, say if you don't have a job, you can just go straight onto the benefit and get money off the goverment for doing nothing, like i know a few people on the benefit and 1 person has 5 kids, she gets $700 a week plus they pay most of her rent to. If you have an accident at work, work covers you for it and pays all your hospital and doctors bills for you then you get ACC where you get 80% of your pay
We do not have to pay for health insurance and also car insurance is not compulsory here either.
