il try help mate , dont get an r9 270x they are garbage you want to go with nvidia, you wont get a good intel processor on that budget but you can get an amd fx 6300 or maybe an fx 8350 which are fast as sh*t but not so good for streaming

Don't try to help with false information. People are spending real money here and looking for help. If you give out false information, people could spend their hard earned money on crap that you suggest which would be a waste of their money. OP could easily get an Intel build with a budget of 500GBP. The R9 270X is a great card, it will easily play games at good settings.
OP-Craigyy's build is great, I am actually looking at getting a similar PC to that and I also have a budget of around 500GBP. Go with an Intel CPU over an FX6300. The FX series of CPU's are dying out. For your budget, the R9 270X is probably the best card you're going to get. If you can manage to get a little extra money, get yourself an SSD to install the OS to. Will give you faster boot/loading times.

sorry smart arse , forgot you was mr pc builder of the year , i wouldnt choose amd gpus ,everyone i know who has one has problems with them , nvidia are better id rather pay a little extra and get a gtx 660ti or gtx 670 than an r9 270. no doubt intel is better for cpu performance but if you are on a budget what can you do, id rather have a better gpu and more ram , an fx wouldnt bottlekneck so there would be no problem

If they have the intelligence level of you then im not surprised they have problems, hell im surprised they knew where to put it. Both the 660Ti and the 670 are older generation cards, and most people would have them over the R9 270X because they are more powerful. No not because of "hurr durr nvidiah" but because of their price point.
Theres no such think as bottlenecking, if it was actually a thing then everyone would be changing from HDD's to SSD's en masse as hard drives are one of the slowest pieces of components in a system.

as you just said they are more powerful so you have contradicted yourself lol, stop thinking you are some smart guy when your clearly not , no such thing as bottlekneck , yes there is you fool and any knowledgeable pc player and builder would know that. your telling me if you put a gtx 780ti or r9 290x with an intel celeron it wouldnt affect performance? if you seriously think no then your a fool
