for a coloured name YOU have to have gold so if you want the coloured name, buy it for yourself and not someone else mate

For gifting gold itself, you get the badge after a few gifts, and the satisfaction of helping the community

The only thing you get on the site from gifting is
gratitude(sometimes) from the gifted person and the
gifer badge at 25 gifts and gifter + beadge at 100.
