I've always wanted this in a game like cod. You have like 1000 points for example. You can choose fire rate, ammount of ammo, damage, range, etc. . But if you go 100% on one then you won't have good damage or range for example. So everyone could have a gun that fits them perfect. They should still have set guns though, that should be like a special gametype of something, just a thought I've had and think it would make people stop complaining about how one gun is too good and one is awful.

to fix the insane amount of damage I just thought of there are restrictions so you cant have amazing damage and other things which would just make one custom gun to good. Like if you want really high power then accuracy and range will go down so it offsets it a little bit.

This would be awesome but would lead to so many dumb hacks and glitches. :/ That's why I have a PS4.

I know Respawn Entertainment has a system that detects hackers and maybe boosters. Sledge Hammer could develope a system like that so that could be a end to hacking in cod. It would let them make different maps too so each customization could be useful on different map styles , more challenging then just running around.

There will always be people who complain no matter what gets put into the game.

COD has been going down hill ever since MW3 came out. And there just adding stupid stuff into Ghost. That's why I switched to Battlefield along time ago it may be a little buggy buts its much more enjoyable then COD is now. I wouldn't get your hopes up with the new COD coming out.

It would be a cool feature, but I could see it being exploited, and some pretty overpowered weapons being made.
