I can't stand Windows 8, I think it's there worst OS yet.
Windows 7 or XP for the win. (in my opinion)

It has to be out of Vista, 7 and 8.

Vista - A worse version of Windows 7 and has many bugs (Some hardly noticeable)

7 - Best OS IMO due to the fact that it is very simple and runs games very smooth.

Windows 8 - Good for touch screen, and click the Windows key and it turns into a slightly different version of Windows 7 (Different GUI).

I am currently using Windows 8 but on my gaming PC i use Windows 7 just because you do not need 8 for gaming as you are there to play games not go into an app store.

IIl wrote There's many version of windows, just like to know which will be best for gaming?

Many people are telling me to stay away from windows 8 right now, and should get Windows 7 pro?

Does windows 7 ultimate use more resources than the other versions?

What OS are you using?

Any answers are welcome.. No silly ones.
Thanks.

windows 8 for sure, i love it so much, if you take the time to learn it you will have no problems and never want to go back to windows 7!

EDIT: saw i lot of people talking about games not being compatible with windows 8, well i have over 70 on steam and have not ran into and issue with any of them, and im currently running windows 8.1

whoever said win 7 is better for gaming is incorrect, win 8.1 is actually better and it can be proven in games such as battlefield 4 where directx 11.1 is used, win 7 does not support directx 11.1 and therefore can not utilize it.
