What town hall are you? Do you want a farming or a trophy base? I would just look up one if i were you. That's what i do since i can't make one to save my life.

Trophy base is where you keep your TH somewhat in the center to protect if from getting destroyed so you won't lose trophies.

Farming is where you have your resources in the middle and your TH on the outside of your base so you can get an easy shield.

In my opinion TH 8 is a farming TH. I have been in TH 8 for over 4 months and I have farmed the majority of the time and I almost have my base maxed out for it's level.

I usually look up different bases based on my town hall level and what not.

Don't really know if its a good base or not but it looks good. So that is why I chose this layout. lol

Basically you put your town hall and castle In the middle and then put your archers, cannons and storage arround it and then put a wall arround them.
