Well I have all new weapons which aren't getting upgrades? They're brand new and I'm getting like 300 kills and nothing any body know why?

You need to have then as your current weapon when you get kills with them or complete missions and bounties. Also make sure the weapons are upgradable by pressing Y on the weapon through the menu.
