Coming from someone who had been on online school. I Reccomend if you would like to get ahead or if your parents don't trust the public school system. I liked it but I lost the soical aspect. But if you already have close friends that you have come over and hang I wouldn't be to worried about the soical life just get out of the house go exercise. I was and still in boxing while I was in online schooling. You need exercise while in online school. But it is your decision.

You can always try it out. A lot of people will say "You need the social aspect" Not really. Friends can be made anywhere and everywhere not just School. Majority of the friends you make in School disappear anyway so why stick to Public schools because you feel obligated to the fact of making friends? If you feel more comfortable at home do it.

Do universities look at online schooling in the same way that they look at regular schools, and does homeschooling negatively affect your chances to get into a good university/college?

Something you should consider.

I have TONS of friends and I think they are all I need. I do understand how some people see the social aspect as a downside but I don't think school is the ONLY place you can make friends.

imgur wrote Half of your "schooling" experience is the social aspect. In my experience people who go through home schooling or cyber schooling are always a bit off. They lack the social skills required to interact with other people correctly.

I fully understand if it is a medical reason, but other than that I feel like it is a bad idea. Like it or not, school is part of developing into an adult and you pretty much need to do it.
i was homeschooled and every day i go out with friends and hang out with people and i never lacked social skills, maybe its just some people but i went through K12 and i had a good expeirence.

Public schooling is the way to go.

You lose the social aspect of your school years sitting at home. You learn a lot more than just stuff from a book when going to public schools.
