I have a mac mini that has 8gb ram, 2.66 ghz intel core 2 duo.

me and my friend wanted to play together awhile back and i was the one who hosted the server since i had the better computer. i figured out how to make server and we played for a good month and i allocated 2gb of ram to server when i made it. it was just regular vanilla server and i was getting roughly 35-55 fps for awhile.

i started getting the idea to mess around with adding mods to the server just a couple days ago. i installed forge and everything and installed one mod at a time. then i realized that my computer just wasnt gonna be able to handle the mods and running the mod loaders becuz i was getting below 20 fps.

i then decided to just take the mods out of the mod folder and run the normal vanilla minecraft server thinking that the framerate would go back to where it was before and it didnt. it stayed below 20 fps.

ive tried removing everything that i can find that had to do with forge, and download macbooster to clean up my computer and many more things. but nothing seems to work.

i just want it back to normal with no mods, just vanilla and my framerate back. can anyone pls help me?

I have no idea I this will work but if I were you I would delete .minecraft and reinstall. Should set everything back to default, but idk.
