How will the pentium stack up compared to the i3 i was looking at? & how much better is the amd card compared to the nvidia i chose?

thanks for changing things up, i've only really geen looking at those nVidia cards due to wanting OS X.

The Pentium is a great Processor, especially when overclocked which is why there is a Z97 mobo in here. As for the GPU, the 270X wipes the floor with a 750 Ti.

Also im pretty sure you can use AMD cards with OSX, however I do hear that Nvidia is better supported.

Basically you can overclock that Pentium to like 4.2 ghz (maybe more) because it runs pretty cool and is unlocked. It's literally the best CPU for a budget.

In the past 2 weeks, you've created 8 threads in this section. The first, you were asking about GPU. You were helped by Terrabytez and Buxtyy and you were told that the R7 265 out-performed the GTX 750 Ti(which you were looking at). You were then told that you could get an R9 270X within your budget which would be a much wiser choice than the GTX 750 Ti. Your second thread, you were asking for help with CPU's. You stated that you'd be getting the GTX 750 Ti, so you blatantly disregarded Terrabytez and Buxtyy's help. You then came to the conclusion that you'd be purchasing an i5-4430. Your third thread had a build that you decided on, which included an i5-4440 and GTX 750 Ti. Your 4th thread was you asking for a build, even though you already had one(3rd thread). Regardless, Volk then helped you in your 4th thread and supplied a fantastic build within your £500 budget which included an i5-4460(The CPU that you told Craigyy you wouldn't get because you'd get the 4430 instead-that was in your 2nd thread) and an R9 270X. Again, you completely disregarded the help you were given and posted a 5th thread. This time, you were asking about an AMD build. Myself and Gigahertz told you that AMD would be a bad choice and your wisest option would be the Pentium G3258. I then supplied a build with the Pentium and an R9 280, which would blow both builds in your OT out of the water. You then posted a thread asking about the Pentium, because you thought it was a joke. Myself and many others told you that it was not a joke and was the best you'd get for your money. You then posted a 7th thread with a build, asking for people to rate it. You had the wrong Pentium in your build and again, had returned to your chosen GPU, the GTX 750 Ti. Again, I offered you help, supplied a quality build with the correct Pentium and an R9 280(which, again, will blow the 750 Ti out of the water). This is now your 8th thread in 13 days and you've completely ignored everyone who has helped you or given you any sort of advice. Granted, budgets can change or prices will change, but your budget has been £500 the entire time and multiple users have suggested many great builds.

I don't see why anyone should waste anymore of their time trying to help you if you're going to completely ignore them. People in this section help out the less informed so that people don't waste their hard earned money so I don't see any point wasting more time trying to help you, after most of us already have and you choose to blatantly disregard everything said by everyone who tries to help you.

after being told to get a AMD card i went back to the nvidia because i had the impression that it worked better with OS X, hence why i didn't add any AMD cards to my PC, there is no point in me getting a AMD card if its not going to work with what i want, regardless of performance. i have also stated numerous times that i dont have much knowledge regarding PC parts and builds, hence the ask for advice, a few people would recommend a Pentium then others would re-assure me to get a I3/I5, considering i dont have much knowlage when it comes to PC Parts and am being told different things im not going to be consistant in what im planning to buy, especially since im on a budget, i cant afford to waste money on something which could've been better. I Did get told AMD was a bad decision, but it was cheaper and lots of people use AMD for budget builds, so i thought it would be a decent idea, i have also apologised for the numerous threads on here regarding PC Builds. I'm not instantly going to listen to what people over the internet tell me, i cant afford to waste money. lots of people have helped me to refine down what i want but then if i was to look at builds on YouTube i get advised to go for AMD due to the price to performance ratio.

im not forcing you to help me, if you dont like seeing posts from me then report or block me or something. if you also dont like me 'ignoring' peoples advice then you need to realise im not going to instantly take advice from people i don't know, i stated numerous times why i knew the 750ti was a good choice for ME, being told otherwise by someone i dont know doesnt help me much as i cant really afford to make mistakes. in future dont even bother to read my posts, regardless of weather you can help or not, if you're just going to complain because i didnt instantly take your word for a build and potentially throw my money away, lol.

You've already been helped with all of that. A lot of YouTubers don't know what they're talking about. Prices also change constantly. AMD's FX series of CPU's has a better price:performance ratio than Itel's core i5 and i7 series. However, the Pentium is £45 and performs better than an Intel core i3-4130, as well as an AMD FX-6300 and an X4 760K. A quick Google search shows many people use an 29 280(X) with OSX out of the box and it works perfectly fine. Not all NVIDIA cards work with OSX either. For example, an EVGA GTX 760 may work, but an XFX GTX 760 may not. I never stated that you were forcing me to help but that's what I do. I do my best to assist others in this section and I have already helped you multiple times, as have many other members.

The Pentium, which stock, is better than an i3-4130, an FX-6300 and an Athlon X4 760K. However, overclocked, it is even more powerful. A Z97 chipset board which allows overclocking and upgradeability to an i7. 8GB RAM which will suffice. A 500W PSU which will suffice. A 1TB HDD which will suffice. A perfectly fine, mid sized case and a GTX 770 as it's apparent you'd prefer an NVIDIA GPU. The GTX 770 is obviously much better than the GTX 750 Ti. Ignore this information if you wish, but you've been helped countless times already.
