Okay so for my A-Level technology I need to make a product. The product needs to be an existing item thats on the market but I must make modifications to make it better. For example last year people made a waitering tray in the shap of a hexagon. It folded up and had compartments for a notebook and another for tips. When folded it sticks together like a magent. Another pupil made a phone holder that holds your phone against the wall while its plugged in charging. Need a creative good idea however the product itself must be portable so not too big. It must be made from wood, metal or acrylic. Need help asap... Ideas or photos please

I am also doing this. The best way to work with this is to ask family or friends if they need anything reasonable built. This way you can take the product they want, make it creative and communicate with them what they want and what they don't want.

I can't think of anything of the top of my head at the moment, but whilst you're going about your day tomorrow, have a little think about what problems you bump into at school / college, and what products you could use or adapt to challenge the problems.

I'm sure you'll come across something, goodluck.
