Not sure if this is in the right section, but here is my question.

I'm looking for a decent computer for fast rendering. I plan on making videos for youtube and was wondering what would be a good computer. I'm thinking of making walkthrough videos so those can go from 10-15 mins long maybe even longer. I currently have a laptop and if i even made a 7 to 8 min video it would take 2-3 hrs to render just one video and that is way to long. I'm looking for a computer that could render long videos that would only take 1hr to 1hr 30 mins max for a long video. If anyone has any ideas on any computer that could help me please leave a comment below. Thanks.

Long video= 15+ mins

Well, before we get started we need to know a few things...

Are you prepared to build one from scratch?

If not ignore this next quote:

If you are please fill this in...

Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?

If you're fully against building one, I'm not sure if i or any of us can help you, as we don't like recommending things that will empty your wallet and not give great performance...

If you do not plan on playing games on it you want to look for a computer with a fast processor. Just tell us a budget and whether you want a pre built pc/laptop or do you want to build one yourself.

Sorry it took a long time to respond. I don't think I'm going to be building a computer because I have no idea how or even where to start. The only thing I'm really looking at is getting a computer so I can render videos fast and that's all I'm looking at. I will only be using this computer for making videos and just youtube stuff and maybe a little gaming on the side. If possible I'm looking for a computer for $3,000 or less it really all depends. I can go higher if needed. I'm not looking for something crazy just a computer that can get the job done.

Still looking for an answer. All I'm looking for is a computer that I can make videos on at a fast speed. Look at first comment for more information.
