I had a bunch of shards and I wanted to dismantle one in hope it would create a ascendant mote or two but it got rid of all of them and I got nothing so I would advices not to dismantle them as I had to dismantle two exotics to just get some shards back ain't even mad

when you get rid of them it clearly says discard not dismantle

2: Ascendant Motes are glitched and you can't currently get them in the game

3: R.I.P shards
