Since I found out about exotic bounties over 2 weeks ago I have been handing in AT LEAST 10 bounties a day. I am still yet to get an exotic bounty but in the space of them 2 weeks my friend has received 3 from not even trying. Why is this? I am trying to work out factors that may be affecting me getting one but I can't think of any, the only thing I can think of is that my Crucible and Vanguard rank are both 0 (I have been using New Monarchy for ages and am Rank 5 with them) is this why? Could it be something else?

It's random.

I have 2 exotic bounties on the go at the same time currently. It's just simply luck, goodluck on grabbing one in the future!

It't random to receive an exotic bounty. I've heard your luck increases with the amount of bounties you turn in though.
