So 2 days ago I downloaded malwarebytes and I let it do its thing, we had a power surge / flicker and now I think my hard drive is gone. My computer turns on but wont boot into normal windows, safe mode and also it wont let me do system restore. I know its probably gone but does anyone have any ideas I could try?

Well, can you hear the HDD spool up when you boot it up?
