First off...They've been hit off by Lizard Squad several times in the past. They're just making a real statement out of it now. For the guy who says they need to switch providers. You're retarded! Microsoft's Xbox Live Servers run @ over 5 TB/s. So to say that they need new providers is really dumb. Lizard Squad simply attacks them with their own connection. Which isn't that simple at all really...Most connections will deny the response. A standard server reboot would be good enough to get them back online, but seeing on how they have more than 200k servers. This would take time! So they're offline/online for a lot of people. I was only off for 2 minutes, but I live downtown from a MS building lol. For the guy that says they can do nothing but ddos. That is where you're wrong. Apparently you didn't hear that PSN was hacked by "anonymous" a.k.a Lizard Squad. They stole 1000's of credit cards, paypals and other personal info. They plan to do something far worse on Christmas to Xbox Live. So just be ready! I have said what I wanted to, so I will not reply to any of you...

A 7k botnet is not a lot and a rule of thumb is going over 8k is asking to be caught. If this was the case, I'm letting you know right now that they WOULD be caught because botnets are pretty easy to trace.

200-400 Gigabytes per second is insane and 7000 slaves could maybe produce 7 gigs if lucky.

The average DDoS is 2.3 gigs. Look it up.

Anyway, Xbox servers can not be taken down by a normal botnet it would have to be huge.
