lolohnoeszsz wrote Sorry but I could care less about their security. Only a damn fool would really even let viruses or shit like that slip in. And if they do that's why you use multiple scanners. Not spending extra money on a system when I can basically get the same security for free.

Resource efficient? So you're saying spending over $1000 for a Macbook Pro is efficient? Yet you can get better "efficiency" from a regular laptop preferably any windows one for much much less.

Enjoy pissing your money away.

When you actually use a system for more than home use you do care about security, you'd be silly not to.

You don't use multiple scanners because that drains resources and can even create false positives. Feel free to look it up, I have no reason to lie.

You can get the same specs for way cheaper, yes you can but the way Windows and OSX is coded is vastly different. I said resource efficient not finance efficient, and in any case I could make the arguement that Mac laptops would last longer than Windows counterparts from build quality alone.

Just because he chooses to sped his money differently than you, does not mean he is "pissing" it away.

Here's the definition of efficient-
"working in a well-organized and competent way."
Just in case you weren't aware, as it seems you're not.

There's no doubt about the fact that macbooks are built far better than the majority of other laptops/notebooks, if not all of them. Apple's customer service can also be amazing, although I have had bad experiences with them in the past, but I know that other companies, such as Toshiba and Asus have horrible customer service. FYI, I don't mean Toshiba and Asus do, I'm just using them as an example of other companies, I actually have no experience with Asus or Toshiba customer support.

Just because you don't care about having a secure system, does not mean other people don't care either. Most do.

Personally, I would get a macbook if I enjoyed the OS, but I don't. I've had several laptops, and IMO, they're all shit. The only reason I have one is for movies and what not when travelling, since I move from place to place quite often. The only thing that puts me off a macbook is Apple OS.

OSX is BSD with a pretty facelift, so I prefer it to Windows. I would be installing Linux to whatever hardware I get, so the default OS is not important and I don't like Windows or OSX defaults.

For hardware alone, I'd get a Macbook if I wanted to spend a lot because Apple only has high-end options and I find they're better than similarly priced Windows options. I don't want a workstation and I don't want a gaymen laptop. Apple prices their hardware fairly, but nobody whines when a Windows manufacturer charges the same price for a similar product.

If it's operating system I'm going with Windows as it's a more reliable operating system than Apple's OS.

TTG_Vape wrote OSX actually is less secure. And it's closed source which kills it for me. 0/10, would never buy lol

Explain how. Also while you're at it find me the source code for Windows.

I've been using a Macbook Pro for the last year now and I absolutely love it.

Everything is so simple and where I want it.

if your still wondering and considering witch to get then i can tell you why i really love mac. We can start off with that fact that its very simple and easy to use my father has a imac that he recently got and he is probably one of the least tech savvy people i have ever seen and he has no problems with working it or finding anything on it and even though its very simplistic and easy to use its still very good and clean looking and its very nice if you have a nice monitor
