So for a long time I have been a huge Intel fan.
Today I thought it would be pretty entertaining to make an AMD build that
could play games like BF4 on a solid 60fps, 1080p.

The budget I was aiming for was $900.

No point, AM3+ is as dead as a dodo and the 270X isn't worth the money anymore.

As Terran00b said, AM3+ is a dead socket. 270x is way too low-end for a $900 rig. That PSU is shit.

$900 can actually get you a good rig;
