I'm worried that a college might see some of the stuff I do (lots of cursing at games) and not accept me. Should I just delete my channel to get it out of the way? I have somewhat of a base but obviously I can quit at any time. I like YouTube as a hobby but I don't want it affecting the rest of my life.

Why will they see your youtube channel? Is that even a requirement for collage?

How in the hell are they gonna know its you? They will google your name and look at facebook and youtube. You didn't name your channel Mike Smith (your real name) Gaming did you?

What you do outside of college is hardly their business especially something as small as Youtube. Even if they did see it they can't do anything, even if you are cursing and such. Most people curse. So my answer is: of course not.

You're college shouldn't really care about your YouTube channel if you're not doing anything like bullying others etc. I'd keep it if you enjoy YouTube.

Assure yourself that the Google+ account linked (if any) doesn't have your name. They shouldn't look at your YT though.

I felt the same way when i was in school, But no i wouldn't screw them. You probably wont speak/see most of them when you are older.
