Why would anyone want to scam another person? Happens on pretty much any gaming console's or non relative. I understand the reason is because the person wants to benefit more or off another person but when it comes down to it, do you really think that the person scamming you thinks twice? I mean, some people actually have to work for whatever you fed off them. not everyone is rich and doesn't care and can replace whatever you took from them. So unethical

There is a reason for "Trusted Sellers" on large websites like TTG/7S etc.

unfortunately because people do not care about other people. That's obviously not everybody but a lot of people just do not care.

Scamming is not the right thing to do but in their defense, most people who scam over the internet probably aren't old enough to know any better and/or earn their own money

I would scam people back in the day, before I had a ttg account, sometimes I would let them know. Hey this isnt legit, im scamming you and then it would be all good and they would understand.
Im not saying in every case, but if you believe some random person on the internet that they will give you something in return for 1600 MSP = 20 dollars without substantial evidence, you deserve to be taught a lesson. Dont trust random people without proof.
Here comes the down votes

I got scammed for an xbox one and the guy showed proof of the console but he didn't send it. Luckily I paid through PayPal as goods so I should be getting my money back soon. I would never scam anyone it's horrible!

In honest, scamming people seems somewhat more logically justifiable than not scamming (should the opportunity present itself). It seems quite practical to take from someone you've never met because you'll benefit and almost certainly suffer no consequences. You could end up with something quite valuable that you wouldn't have previously had just by manipulating a person you have no emotional attachment to.
Of course there are moral dilemmas but I do kinda see why some people scam.
That's not to say I agree with it (or that I've scammed people - I've been scammed but not vice versa).
In summation, scamming is morally wrong but logically understandable.
