Kun wrote Well done man. Enjoy it! Spend your first couple of paychecks then start saving a little bit. Nothing better getting paid and having no bills or responsibilities you have to pay for!

cant agree more. its nice having no bills enjoy your time living at home cause damn it sucks when every month you have a mortgage payment power water cable trash phone internet insurance gas heath insurance 401k payments..... mighty long list enjoy what your parents pay for you while you can.

why do you guys all instantly think its minimum wage?? not everyone works for mcdonalds or walmart for thier first job....me in example i got hired on at my local steel mill as a union member when i was 17 i started out making more per hour then my age.

not saying he isnt minimum wage but just saying not everyone starts off at a no career having job. i left my union after 8yrs and became a welding instructor for the company instead of the union. after 2yrs of that i managed to open my own business and now companies all over the U.S. use me to train welding instructors.

Nice and congrats on your first job/paycheck. My first paycheck was for a measly $163 and some cents. Now I get around $800 ($600 after bs taxes)

Nice dude
The feeling of getting the pay check is great knowing you're closer to a goal (that's me anyway)
I'm currently saving for a holiday to Vegas in April
