Under your budget of 1500 (w/monitor). Can change the case if you want, I just chose a simple, nice looking case that I've used in the past.

There is always that one person that will say AMD.

OP - Mine and sanctyyy's build will both play all games maxed out @ 1080P.

1440p panel and the rig still looks baller. Easily add another 970 in SLI if you wish. Spend a little extra to get the NZXT S340, NZXT H440 or Fractal Design Define R5 instead of the Bitfenix Comrade if you wish.
Thank you i like this build but i'll go with a cheaper montior besides that thank you all for your suggestions.

Umm.. there isn't a cheaper monitor. That's the cheapest 1440p panel you're going to get.

I'm sorry i should have stated earlier that i would be happy if these games ran at 720p, that would be a upgrade from my current computer. I just want to be able to play newer games at a consistent frame rate without massive lag or my computer pretending its a jet engine ready for take off.

Then this 1920x1080 monitor would be perfect.

If you're not going to get a 1440p panel;

It's a little over budget after rebates.
