WCDT and Forest are right man. As long as i've been here I can't count how many attention seekers have came by saying they own a Shelby or are in the market for a GT-R, then when we ask for pics showing proof (with a name or such) they come up empty handed and the thread gets closed. Now, I know this isn't no GT-R, but still, this is a 3000GT. These cars are impossible to mod without a lot of cash in the pocket. I doubt this car is capable of 1000hp on the stock block. Over $100k in mods would have to be put in the car before hitting that milestone.

And like Forest pointed out, if you bought a car that's 10 mins from you, and you got home in 5, then why are you posting the ebay pics? My giddy self would have taken 100 pics after getting home with this car. So, the admins and mods are just pointing out something that some of us old timers would have asked, because too many people come through here thinking we're all a bunch of kids who know nothing when it comes to cars.

None the less, whoever the owner is, whether it be you, or Joe Smoe, that 3000gt is a badass car. The cars didn't really have the right block to be modded extremely, but fortunately people thought otherwise and opened a shop specifically for it, 3sx Performance. Same with ninjaperformance, and thus these die-hard mitsubishi GTO/3000gt and Dodge Stealth fans spent loads of money on modding them. As you can see the post on ebay claimed to have over $50k invested. That's a lot for only pushing 554hp.

Why do people lie about the cars they 'own'?
