I used to play for my local team and once had Bradford looking at me (my manager told me) but Halifax Town in the conference offered me trials first aha. Not exactly the biggest club but it was still something!
Didn't manage to do the trials though because my legs had gone and they are still **** today. My Physiotherapist I go to refuses to let me play again because I can seriously damage my legs if it do (Whenever I run now it kills like a bitch). A few years late I'm finally going into hospital to try get it sorted properly (next month). Also no I'm not fat or disabled lmao.
So yeah that's my story, I played a holding midfield role and I had nike boots but I can't remember the exact name they were just plain white with a black tick on the side.
It still annoys me the fact that I could of got somewhere with it but ah well shit happens, all I have left to say now is if their are any 13/14 year olds wanting to try get somewhere with it I suggest getting your head down now and working your hardest because in a year or 2's time scouts won't even look at you they want younger players

Sorry to hear that, but yeah I know some good players that didn't focus on football and just wasted time sitting around, sad to see that they could've actually gone somewhere, but I know lots of people that are playing for premier league clubs at academy level

Used to play for the West Ham youth team but got let go, part of this was to do with my constant angle injury I would always get.
Still play Sunday league at mens level which is still decent but not really the same.. I'm 17 years old by the way.
I've always worn Nike Mecurials.
I play on the wing or at striker as i'm only 5ft 7 so you don't really need to be that tall for that position

Played for one of the best high school teams in the state of Connecticut (not gonna say the city because of creeps ...). We ended up winning our division but sadly got eliminated in a State Championship in the Quarter-Finals in PK's :'(.
Usually played ST/RM and had 6 goals/3 assists in 16 games.
And the boots that I wore for 3 months that I still love :')
