Even if there was a cure for cancer pharmaceutical companies wouldn't produce it if they didn't see it as a marketable product because they already make a lot of money from treatments and if they cured people they would make less money and they don't want that.

I'm not being funny but i find it heard how we can stop other diseases like Cancer which is mutations off cells. Its like a cold not on the same level but we can take medication to fight the bad cells off! I just find it hear to believe with all the money donated, our intelligence as human beings that there is no cure. But the point where politicians, strong public figure etc... don't have cancer is very valid. I feel you get treatments for such diseases if you are of high wealth or a huge public figure!

Depends on the scale of the operation doesn't it If we where to mass produce cure for cancers the chemicals in the soloution would fall in price as the Goverment would take money from else where to fund the operation or just maybe Cancer Research to upscale there misson for donations they made a net profit of £537 Million in 2013! (According to wiki)

what about all the other diseases that have been cured? They released the polio vaccine when it was a major problem Why wouldnt they do the same? not to mention that if they did find the cure they could charge whatever they wanted, so it wouldnt be a factor of money. They could actually make a lot more by selling the cure than administering treatments

Steve Jobs only basically re-designed Apple as a company. Not really a international figure!

They make more money selling "treatments" for cancer than they would curing it.

Look up Area 51 about the retired scientist who released some details about what's in there.
