Getting a pc soon with a i3 in it and want the 4160 but it refreshed and i need to know if ebuyer update the BOIS, Thankyou!

One last question what is better, R9 270x or a GTX 960? both 2GB

960, but a 280/280x/285/380 is a better choice than the 960 for around the same price.

Cheapest 270x- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Cheapest 280x- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Cheapest 285- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

4GB 380- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

In order of worst, down to best. 280x and 285 perform pretty similarly, so they're pretty much 6 or half a dozen. The 380 is an improved 285. The 4GB 380 is the best of all the choices.

If they don't update the BIOS just do it yourself all you need is the correct file and a USB stick.

and a compatible CPU. You can't update an H81 chipset board with a 4160, if the BIOS is not recent enough.

like Sanctyy said you're gonna need a haswell chip to update the bios rather than a haswell refresh chip or it won't even post at all.
