I don't doubt it lol. I don't see why they close threads like this though. I mean as long as there is a semi intelligent conversation going on, all is fine. When you get into kids screaming about nothing, yeah, close it down.

When the Confederate flag debates were plaguing the News forum mods were so trigger happy. 2-3 people would ruin it, they should've banned or suspended the ones ruining it instead of deleting a topic with a reasonable debate going.

If a black man thinks he is getting under paid, he can claim racism and sue the company. A white man can't.

While we are on the labor topic, one thing I notice, and have personally seen is that if a black guy thinks he is getting underpaid, he will still go to work, but will take breaks when ever he wants and for how ever long he wants and claim he is underpaid and over worked.

Anecdotal evidence isn't very compelling, statistics are needed to really convince anyone of this.

When white people protest, we generally make up some signs and show the media how pissed we are. How do black people protest? They break windows and destroy local businesses.

You mean those are the ones that make the news?
In America the media focuses on the black people rioting over a death, meanwhile the white people who rioted over an annual pumpkin festival were left completely in the dark.
In the UK we had one of the largest riots in living memory which spread from London to Manchester because a man was shot by the police and it involved mostly white people.

Oh, that reminds me. They through around the "N" word (I say the "N" word because I don't want to get in trouble on the forums or I would say the word") around like yesterdays new paper. Now if I the white guy say that same word, in the same context (yo wutup mah "N" word) I am now a racist.

The N word obviously isn't racist when a black person uses it.
When a white person uses it there is still that, 'is he being racist?' question lingering in their heads for a few moments so white people usually avoid saying it simply because it causes awkward situations where you have to explain that you're not being racist.
That isn't racism by black people, that's just called social interaction.
It's like calling your friend an idiot in a jokey way and calling a complete stranger an idiot in a jokey way, the stranger is going to wonder if you're really joking because they don't know your mannerisms, your friend does.

One thing that REALLY pisses me off is that in high school you would see these Mexicans wearing shirts with the Mexican flag on it, and when I wore my hat with the confederate flag I had to take it off or I would get suspended. I got suspended for 3 days. What was his reasoning? That flag is offensive to blacks. I told him "yeah, and that Mexican flag Andre (a kid sitting in the office, perfect timing) is wearing is offensive to me). I would then go on to explain to him how the flag I am wearing was a part of history and I am proud of my history, but not necessarily everything they did.

I don't agree that the school should have made you take your hat off, that seems extremely petty.
But you saying that the Mexican flag is offensive to you just makes you seem infinitely more racist if you don't offer any more explanation.

but they are the ones you hear about. And yes, some whites are like this too.

You hear about them more, that doesn't mean that they are more prevalent.
If you're not saying that they are more prevalent then what is your point?

Oh dear god, here we go.

1. Again, this is what I see when working with these people.

2. Yep, because people kill people, it's what happens. God forbid a white cop kill a black kid for hiding an object that the cop has no idea if it's a gun or not. Blacks generally riot on a civilian level, or for the civilians. Whites riot on a legal level, keeping our rights our rights.

3. If I go up to a black guy and say that word I Will be called a racist and lucky if I don't get beat up. Yet a black guy uses that word and it's alright. That's racist to me.

4. I didn't give a solid explanation because that is a whole different topic. If you would like to get on that, please PM me. If not, I will leave it how I said it in the original post.

5. They are more prevalent. Again, these are what I hear and see. One of the guys I worked with was black and he decided he was working too hard for too little pay so he pretty much stopped working and demanded more pay for less work. What I listed in my original post is all things I see and hear. When you everyone of a certain skin color that you see does the same thing, is it safe to say that that is just how they are? It is to me.

1. You are making a statement which apparently applies to all black people. Just because this is what you see when you're working with them it doesn't automatically follow that all black people are like that, that's called anecdotal evidence and it means pretty much nothing.

2. You have completely straw-manned my reply to you. You were complaining about HOW black people riot, not WHY they riot.
Black people rioting over the death of a person, whether you see that death as justified or not, is them rioting on a legal level.
You're looking at their reasons for rioting based on your view of them being wrong rather than their view of them being right.
Of course it's going to look like a silly reason to riot if you think they are wrong about it, and considering white people riot over basketball games and pumpkin festivals we can't exactly take the moral high ground.

3. I explained why that's not racist, if you don't want to read what I write then that's fine, but don't reply to it if you haven't.

4. I really don't care why you don't like the Mexican flag, I just wanted to give you an opportunity to defend yourself before I outright called you a racist.

5. No it isn't safe to say that because you are applying your tiny view of an entire race to the entire race.
Every milk man I have encountered has been a nice person, that doesn't automatically mean that all milk men are nice people.
That is me applying anecdotal evidence to an entire group of people which is exactly what you are doing.

1. I will say it once again. Read my full post. I said not all, and I will say that again, not all black, Mexican, Asian, etc. people are like that. These are just the ones I see.

2. It does not matter at all what you are rioting for. The videos you see of black people rioting be it because a cop killed Trevon Martin, or because a rubber duck company only makes yellow ducks, you see them breaking windows of local stores, and wreaking havoc on the the town. You see the white people screw up traffic by getting in crowds with signs in the middle of the roads.

3. If I can't say a word because I am not black, that's not racist? How so?

4. I already said that what I see in everyday life, and by my opinions of what I see in everyday life I would be described as a racist, yes. When the principal said the confederate flag was a bad time in history, I brought up the Mexican flag. Since you are too arrogant to do what I asked you to do in my last post, I will just say it here instead of in PM. What do I see when I see the Mexican flag in the US? Absolute take over. They come here illegally, selling our people drugs, and taking jobs from our people. Not only that, but we know they are invading, and we don't want to stop them, we will just make our warning signs in Spanish. Excuse me for not accepting people representing the Mexican flag in America. If you like it that much, go back.

5. I don't have enough time on this earth to study each and every person to get a generalization of a race. What I see is what my opinions are made of, and until you make an effort to correct it, my views will be the same. White people are greedy, Mexicans are invaders that screw the US citizens, and back people are reversing the role of racism.

I have already said this a couple times, and I will say it again since you clearly don't get it. I'll say it like this I guess.

NO, NOT ALL BLACK, MEXICAN, ASIAN, ETC. PEOPLE ARE LIKE THIS, THIS IS JUST WHAT I SEE MOST OF THEM DOING SO THAT IS WHERE MY GENERALIZATIONS COME FROM.

It is impossible to get a true generalization. Why? Because you have successful black people such as Obama, you have people like Matthew Emanuel Macon who rape and kill people, then you have people in Zimbabwe just trying to survive. What you see in your area in everyday life is how that race is in your world.

Lol just change your name to Donald Trump...

Nah, I like my name because I'm so opinionated (that's my 0.02).

Not only that, but I wouldn't run for the corrupted states of America.

Embassy_Modding wrote Interesting. For one i 100% agree that racism is one of the lowest thing anyone can do/say to hurt someone. But at the same time, as you will know your self since you stay in the UK. That immigration is becoming a problem. A major problem.. That much of a problem that the name muhammed is in the top 3 names in Britain. In London there Far right muslim groups ganging up.. More and more are joining them. They dont like anything to do with Britain, they rob all out benefits, they despise our soldiers or anything to do with anything else apart from there religion. I personally think something need to be done before this gets out of hand. What are your thoughts on this situation?

Rob our benefits? Benefits are ridiculous, I despise people who choose not to work, immigrant or not. Fact of the matter is, 6.92% of the country are from an asian origin. You seem to labour under the delusion that "Muslim" is a race. It is not, it is a religion. Billions of muslims worldwide condemn ISIS etc.

You just don't like Islam, I notice you said nothing about Polish immigrants, Romanian immigrants etc. doing the same.

Odds that you support UKIP? 1/10.

I will never shed any emotions for those who use the excuse 'different upbringing'. We are living in a world where everyone is connected socially so using that excuse is completely void. There is no 'excuse' for racism at the end of the day time is coming to point with what it should be, acceptance. Accepting people for who/what they are and what they want. It's not a 'mixed cultural' world it's a world that's learning, learning that we are all the same in the eye of another. Human beings are such fantastic creatures when they finally reach peace.

Notice, there was 2 words throughout that which should have sparked something in you "Acceptance & Learning" I'll leave you with that to think upon what life is and what it's potential can be if you choose to make it happen for you or your future children/grandchildren because I don't know about you but I don't want my kids to grow up among racist/judgmental people, I want them to grow up and see life through the eyes of themselves.

Because you have successful black people such as Obama, you have people like Matthew Emanuel Macon who rape and kill people, then you have people in Zimbabwe just trying to survive. 1. Definition of racism: "the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races."
What you said: "Now I've become really racist just based on what I see."
You explained in your edit to your first post exactly what I've been saying all along, so thank you for agreeing with me: "I wasn't racist to start out, but when you are surrounded by people like this and these are the only black, Mexican, Asian, etc. people you know, you get a jaded opinion about the whole race."

2. Your original point was that black people riot by breaking windows, and that white people are usually the peaceful ones.
I proved that wrong and added a caveat that white people usually riot over silly things.
If you want to focus on the caveat that's fine, but you have yet to prove your opinion that black people rioting violently is more prevalent.

3. It's not racist for you to be chastised for saying the N word in the same way that it's not racist for you to chastise a black person for saying cracker.
There are cultural boundaries and social boundaries which race does not transcend. That doesn't make them racist for wondering if you're a racist when you say a word entirely associated with racism when said by a white person.

4. Surely the people wearing the Mexican flag could simply turn around to you and say, 'If you like the confederacy so much why don't you try and gain the right to own slaves?'
It's not arrogant of me to not PM you about something which is in the discussion we're having.
You really just didn't want to post your racist thoughts on the forum for everyone to see.

5. How about this? You don't generalize a race? It's quite simple. You take your anecdotal evidence and you see it for what it is, your tiny view of a race which does not translate to every single person in that race. That is what normal people do. That is why the majority of people are not racist.

1. If you would have read my edit to the first post before you made your post, you would have seen that. My edit was made 15 hours and 41 minutes from the time of this post, and your post was made 15 hours and 58 minutes ago. But that's besides the point.

2. Again, it's not what the people riot over, it's how they riot. And again, yes, some blacks riot peacefully and some whites burn down the towns, but you look at the percentage of what kinds of riots are going on and go based on that. Most of the riots I see from black people are them breaking businesses in their town. Most riots out of white people I see consist of the people holding signs saying how Boeing isn't giving them enough benefits. Now tell me how racist I am because you assume that I assume there is no blacks working at Boeing / none at the protests.

3. If you can't say a word because of your skin color, that's like not being able to use a certain sink or bathroom because of your skin color which equates to racism.

4. Did you know that some northerners had slaves? Did you know they didn't want to give them up? Did you know that some southerners refused to have slaves and wanted to abolish slavery? The confederacy is not just about slavery and if you would like to continue this conversation I would suggest you look up some history on the confederacy. History such as their role in the American revolution. Did you know they elected the first African American to the U.S. House of Reps? Again, I already said I am racist, the reason I did not want to go into detail about this issue was previously stated. When the issue of the confederate flag being taken away arose, anything to do with it on the forums was being deleted, and the same will happen to this thread.

5. You have to generalize races. Look at it from a business standpoint. You see all the blacks and Mexicans (again it's not just them and some are fine) saying they are underpaid and pretty much stop working so you have to pay them more to do less. Why would I want to hire another black or Mexican guy when I had to get rid of 7 this month for the same issue? When a lot of people from any given race do the same thing you get a bad opinion (or a good opinion if it was a good thing) about the race in general. To save yourself and your company you will probably not be hiring a lot more blacks or Mexicans unless you have to. I have been through this issue before and that is why I will not bring another black or Mexican person to a job with me unless I know them. One guy was really bad, he worked extremely slow, asked for 12/hr, and when I told him we work at 10/hr he decided to steal from the people I had him working for. I had to get rid of at least 4 people for working slow and wanting more pay.

I will say this one more time and if you would like to continue number 5, then you may want to read this one especially. A generalization of a certain race is what you get in your area. For me and what I see out of blacks and Mexicans here in my area is horrible. That may not be the case out in Florida, Oregon, Mississippi, etc. No one person has the time to go out and talk to every single person of any one race to get a generalization of the race. You make a generalization of the race based on what yo see in your area, and I'm sorry humans work that way but it's human survival. No one works on a team anymore, it's all for yourself. In the real world you have to get an idea of how that persons race is to get an idea of what you can expect out of them. Yes, some blacks and Mexicans are the hardest working people you will ever see and only charge 5/hr, but you see and hear about a lot of them wanting to get paid more to do less work. Then when you don't pay them more they claim racism and sue you. You have to look out for your own safety. If you still don't see where I am coming from, I would encourage you to talk to some small business owners and ask them person to person if there is any one or two races they are weary of hiring because of previous experiences or what they have seen. Chances are they will say yes.

Before this thread gets closed, I would like you to listen to this song so you can maybe understand where I stand with the confederate flag.

002 wrote If I (a white male) gets in a fight with a black guy, I will get charged with a hate crime, yet there is no hate crime if he fights with me. Why is that? That's just on the legal aspect of things, and sometimes they press those charges, but on to high horizons.

1. I apologize.

2. Right, now you're getting it. Percentages. Actual statistics. Where are they? Show them to me. This is how you make an informed opinion.

3. Sinks are not analogous with words and social interactions.
Analogies have to be similar. Besides, nobody is saying you cannot say the n word if you're white, and if they are they are wrong. Scepticism from black people should be expected if a white person is going to say the n word which is why white people usually don't say it.

4. For the sake of this thread let's not talk about the confederate flag. I've posted my opinion on it before if you want to go back and find it.

5. Where have you gotten that example from?
You keep saying, 'it's not just them...' but you continue to single them out. Why?

In the real world you have to get an idea of how that persons race is to get an idea of what you can expect out of them.

No, you don't. In the real world you talk to individual people and get to know them personally so you know what to expect out of them. You are judging people based on the colour of their skin because of incidents you've had in the past with them while at the same time saying 'It's not just black people who are like this...' You are basically saying in a very long winded way 'Black people are bad because of this this and this but all humans are like this so yes I'm racist.'
