as someone from the Cyber security side of TTG, I 100% believe you should invest in a Proxy before a VPN. onion skinned layered proxy's can make you unhitable while VPN's (Depending on if it has Ddos protection) are easily still hitable but you can simply "Change servers" modders (jtag/RGH) become victims to a lot of "Script kiddies" who think they're playing the role of "Internet Thug" Also if you ever need to retaliate (LAST CASE SERNERIO) you Can simply Download LANC (Better than cain cuz it pulls ports for OVH etc) or Commview (Runs with VPN enabled) and simply making a free account on IPstreer to boot off the annoying script kitties. Obviously not recommended due to it's a Crime (Depending on your country) but eh if you have to... I'm sure they'll leave you alone eventually
