Hey guys I need some help im looking to buy a desktop since my laptop is slow and I need something quick and reliable. Im not looking for a gaming pc so I don't need anything special just something for tools(for jtags/rghs), for programs like Microsoft word, photoshop, illustrator, just the general programs for school. What would be a good desktop to get ? No macs please. Thanks for the help

I'd suggest building your own machine you'll save some money and leave plenty of room for upgrades.

What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?

Building a PC is your best option, and many others here will tell you the same thing.
