I have a beginner setup right now but I am working on upgrading. I have 2 12" Kicker L7's that need a custom box to fit in my trunk. I am upgrading my amp to the Alpine MRP-M1000, and getting some Zero Gauge Wire to run the new amp. I also will need a good capacitor to keep my car running well.

What I have now:

2 12" Kicker Comps (in separate boxes)
1 Alpine MRP-M500
4 Kicker door speakers
2 Kicker tweeters

VFLs are very nice.
Had a pair couple of years ago.But I dont think you'll have the airspace if thats going in a "trunk". you will want to get a much bigger amp to satisfy them. That amp does around 1700-2000ish realistically.

If you can get a 5000+ for the pair would be much better. Possibly a cresendo 5500? DC 5k? Soundqubed 4500? Twisted Sounds maybe?

I'd switch out everything kicker also.
