It's the same/similar style, rushing into things is what I do, I imagine the piece in my head and design it sadly whilst doing so I forget what I am doing in the process, lol.
As for the 'codstyle' reference, the reason behind that is because it's for that man, that's just like going I want a logo for football but I want a rugby ball for the design just doesn't make sense.
The first image/used in my avatar previously is executed perfectly, like dare/soar, darth etc they all represent arts, with it's on style, a 'z' inside of a 'z' which is actually quite unique in it's own way.
A logo isn't just letters as what you have used to, a logo can be anything which the imagination limits some people to do so e.g. a lot of other members who constantly post era stuff with tragic overlays etc.
You can't say that none of the others represent them either; lets say these values out at point to basically explain myself;
To me and quite a lot of other people they represent what they are; simple designs with extras.
Yes you are very correct about some of them being random shapes, for that they are and I admit it but I did make them look nice;)
Do not take this in the wrong way, I am not trying to start an arguement about this as I have agreed to most things but some of the stuff you have said are wrong, neglecting the designs due to it being 'kid-ish" thank you for giving me some decent feedback, like I asked. Have some rep.
Sorry, I figured you'd know what I meant by cod-ish, let me elaborate.
What I mean by codish is that it looks poor and rushed, with very little thought.
As much as I'd like to agree with you in saying I've established a style, that's untrue.
The pieces you've pointed out were requested as so, 2 different clients taking a liking to a similar piece I provided as an example of my work.
I provided many examples and mock-ups for them, but those a the ones they picked overall.
I don't need you to tell me what a logo is, or a logo "Just being letters like I'm used to".
First of all, I'm not "used to" a logo being letters, my work is not only letters, and I could very much straighten that one out.
Also, don't try to correct me, then use the exact examples I was referring to in thought.
None of the examples you provided argue my statement in any way.
The "Salli" logo, shows and represents nothing of clothing, it only appears to be a stolen style of a word.
The team extra hardly shows anything else either, besides letters with poorly added curves.
That goes for about 7 of the other examples you've provided as well. And no, they don't look nice.
Oh, don't take this the wrong way, but that wasn't a very good attempt in covering that one up.
The words you somehow managed to string up together only somewhat prove that you see more in "your" work than what is actually there.
No need for thanks, no need for rep, it isn't appreciated.
Well that was a bit of an immature comment you made there, what you left there isn't feedback in the slightest it's just one giant mock in a story which left me thinking someone a bit mad from whatever I said, I never offended you nor did I intend to.
So from now on whenever I ask for feedback on future pieces, please don't bother.
Thanks, ill.

You brought into question his work with no reason. As soon as you bring in someone elses work instead of concentrating on your own, you are starting the arguement.
Some of your work is good yes, some not so good, as with us all.

I was using his work as an example, I wasn't saying it was a bad logo either.
I am aware some of it's bad to, that's why I asked for feedback.

Your not clever kid, your low key shit isn't missed, or maybe you're too daft to even notice your own words.
You ask for feedback, I give you feedback, yet your so quick to poorly defend yourself.
I know what I said, and I said it with reason, then you attempt to twist my words, and assume I didn't know what I was saying.
You try to give some shit reason that I'm wrong, and then expect me to not come back and say something?
Not only that, but when I came back and said what I said, you contort my words AGAIN.
"Aww why did you say that, so immature, poor little me did nothing wwwaawwngg"
You know what you said, and now your horribly scrambling to shape my words back into something
more than what is actually said, or what is evident.
You're pretty good at that though... Aren't you?
And don't attempt to correct me, or dictate what I am to do next, a mimic doesn't get to do that.
And honestly I don't have to time argue with someone who seems to be shadow copying my every move.
/end
Have some rep.
