Lineker is amazing on FIFA 16, had him in a false 9 and he scored 40 goals in 18 games.

Literally just used Alan Shearer for my first game and he seems really good.

I would ignore his dribbling, he can stick the ball at his feet and take on a few defenders with ease, sometimes his pace is noticeable though, but he can usually beat his man.

Also very good in the air, you can cross it to him and he will usually win the header (also power header trait meaning he can score headers a lot more easily)

Also fantastic free kick and penalty stats, first goal I scored was blasted from a free kick.
