Honda's or Toyota's would be my go-to, but you could get a lemon, or you could get the best what ever you buy. No matter what, take the vehicle to a mechanic. I thought I was doing good, I had a rough (very rough) understanding of vehicles when I bought my truck. Turns out they took up the check engine light because it was on, to fix all that was a 2k repair, I needed pretty much all new front suspension, and my torque converter was going out (still is but 2 years / 20k miles hasn't gotten worse, so I'm just waiting until it blows or I sell it). Simply taking the truck to a mechanic before I bought it would have done me a lot of good lol.
