So I went to the dentist a couple weeks ago and he did xrays and he said I need to get my wisdom teeth out before summer. So I went to the oral doctor today and took more xrays and set a date for my surgery. Has anyone else had theres removed? All 4 and mine are impacted. If so how did it feel?

I had mine out during my senior year of high school. The anesthesia is fun, if they count down from 10 and you'll be out by the time they hit 8. Just keep up with the pain meds after because when I tried to go off them the day after I ended up screaming in pain for half an hour until the dose kicked in. Also, the diet sucks for quite a while after that. Enjoy yogurt and pudding for a while

It's pretty painless. They knock you out for it. After I had all 4 of mine pulled I couldn't even walk lol. After that I had plenty of soup and yogurt since I couldn't chew on anything.

Before I used to get terrible headaches and migranes every month. Since then they stopped so I'm pretty happy I had them removed when I did.

I posted this on a different topic yesterday or the other day, but I actually don't have wisdom teeth. It's possible to be born with less than four, or in my case, none.

Glad I don't have to go through any of this. I'm sure it does hurt, even if others say it doesn't. The numbness doesn't last forever.

I got all four of mine removed about two months ago and it was nothing. All I remember was going in, talking to the dentist for about two minutes, then waking up. You won't be able to eat anything solid for a few days (was only one day for me) and he'll prescribe you some painkillers. You'll be fine. It'll just be hard to speak.

I got 11 teeth removed and I wish it was just my wisdom teeth. Got all 4 of mine removed and I barley feel it. The other 7 is what hurt lol
