Synopsis
Call of Duty: Ghosts is a 2013 first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward, with assistance from Raven Software, Neversoft and Certain Affinity. Published by Activision, it is the tenth primary installment in the Call of Duty series and the sixth developed by Infinity Ward. The video game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on November 5, 2013, with Treyarch handling the port for the Wii U. The game was released with the launch of next-generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Ghosts received positive reviews from critics, with most praising its multiplayer gameplay and introduction of the new game mode Extinction, but criticizing it for its single-player campaign, rehashing of familiar concepts, general lack of innovation, and storyline ending.

Single-Player/Campaign
The game's main friendly squad/the protagonists are the Ghosts, a special force of U.S. Special Operations military trained to accomplish clandestine missions behind the enemy lines. The team is led by a retired US Army Captain, known as Elias Walker. He is also teamed withhis sons Logan and David Walker, with also a trained German Shepherd named Riley, you get the chance in the story line to play as Riley and attack the enemies. The game's main antagonist is Rorke, the past leader of the Ghosts who now works for the Federation after being captured and brainwashed by the Federation with torture and obliteration of his mind. The story also begins with Elias telling his son stories the legends behind the Ghosts first arrival against the Federation. The Federation can be recognized as the enemy team/ the antagonists. In the mid story line, near the end, The Ghosts capture Rorke, but Rorke's men attack the Ghosts plane and rescue Rorke from the Ghosts. The Ghosts land in a Jungle, where they oversee a missile being fire for some unknown purpose. After seeing the missle shot off, The Ghosts raid a Federation laboratory and obtain the classified information in a factory at Rio de Janeiro. The Ghosts destroy the Federation's Atlas oil ground located in Antarctica to distract the Federation's fleet away from their objective and sink a ship that is guarding the coast. The Ghosts then discover that the Federation switch up the ODIN's technology and made their own orbital continuous attack system code. After destroying the factory, the Ghosts regroup at a safehouse in Las Vegas, but they then are captured by Rorke. Rorke kills Elias when they are captured, the brothers escape with Merrick, Keegan and Riley. To pretty much sum up the story line, the story is mostly about Logan and Hesh pursuing Rorke on their own mission to avenge their father and end it all. Once the game is complete, you will see the credits pop up and a clip of where Rorke was kept captive my the Federation and brainwashed. Which is shown in the first-person view of Logan.

Multiplayer/Squads/Extinction
Multiplayer
Call of Duty Ghosts has a few new game modes to choose from. List of the new gamemodes you can choose from: Search and Rescue, Blitz, and Cranked. The objective of Search and Rescue is to survive as long as you can without dying, however if you do die you have to wait for a teammate to pick up you tag or if they don't you will not respawn until the next game. This Gamemode is very similar to Search and Destroy. There are two new features that are added to this CoD, which are leaning and sliding. To use the lean feature, simply be close to a wall and point your weapon near it and you will lean. The sliding feature is kind of similar to dolphin diving but is an easier way to move around, you can do this by pressing B or circle.
Squads
Squads is something new added to call of duty. Squads does consist of up to 10 customizable characters which level up on their own and at their own speed. Squads are put into gamemodes putting the player against other players. The gametypes are Squad Assault, Safeguard, Safeguard Infinite, Squad vs Squad, and Wargame. Squads is a really fun game mode if you really like a lot of action in the game. I personally believe Squads is one of my favorite gamemodes!
Extinction
Extinction is a new 4 player Co-op mode in which you go up against Aliens. It is a base objective kind of mode. Players can unlock different things, such as: attachments, weapons, equipment, etc... The ranking system is much like multiplayer since you unlock things as you go.

Graphics
The graphics have definitely improved from MW3 to this new Call of Duty. The overall graphics of Call of Duty Ghosts are great. The detail of everything in this game, such as: cars, weapons, walls are amazing. Everything can be definitely clearly seen unlike some older Cods. However older CoDs may be the best but Ghosts has definitely taken a step up. To be honest Ghosts has taken a huge leap in some time, with an upgraded engine and the integration of new, advanced technology. Infinity Ward has again used its engine to build Call of Duty Ghosts, and as with previous titles has introduced a huge variety of upgrades in the graphic area of the game that enhance the graphics. The main features such as DirectX11 tessellation, Sub-D, and the HDR make the greatest difference, while upgrades like the Umbra 3 renderer and many other upgrades which improve the performance of the game.

Controls
The controls are just like any other Call of Duty or like Battlefield. I will list the basic controls so the readers will know if you've never played Ghosts. They are pretty much the exact same as MW3 was. Except sliding is a new featured control added to Ghosts which takes the place of Dolphin diving. As for this Call of Duty everything else tends to be the same. However the way the game feels may somehow make it feel different as its more fast paced. Excellent controls if you ask me, so you will very well not be disappointed.
Examples:
RT to shoot
LT to aim
RS to knife
B to go prone, crouch, slide
RB to throw lethals

Overall
Graphics: 8/10
Controls: 9/10
Gameplay: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

Cubans wrote I enjoyed it alot, I don't know why people hate it.
I'm in the same boat I found the game to be very enjoyable! Although I was more of a competitive who would play game talked and umg matches. I did enjoy pubs at the same time.. There's nothing really bad about the game besides the fact that it became repetitive but what cod doesn't become repetitive
